The new TreattSweet natural, non-caloric ingredients are designed to be ‘water white’, so they are suitable for clear beverages and juices, as well as dressings and dairy. Treattsweet Extra 9856 has been formulated as a low odour alternative to other ingredients in the range, which impart a sweet aroma, while TreattSweet Sparkling 9857 is intended to tackle the challenges of carbonation, acidulants and sugar in low-calorie drinks, which impact flavour perception and sweetness.

TreattSweet Sparkling 9857 is particularly suited to stevia-sweetened drinks with a low pH and reduced sugar, with recommended dosage starting at 100ppm, the company said.
