Progresso develops new line of cooking sauces

Progresso New Products marketing manager Allen Gerten said that sauces are the foundation for delicious meals, but families do not always have the time to create these sauces from scratch.
"To help families overcome this hurdle, we created Progresso Recipe Starters in our kitchens, so they can save time in theirs," Gerten added.
To support the product launch, Progresso has created 80 recipes utilizing this new line of cooking sauces. Recipe Starters are available in the soup aisle for a suggested retail price of $2.49 for an 18-ounce can.
