UK-based supermarket chain Sainsbury's has launched a new range of tomato purees that will add flavor to food.

The new range includes Cherry Tomato & Basil Puree and Italian Tomato & Vegetable Puree.

The Cherry Tomato & Basil Puree can be used in the preparation of Italian dishes such as spaghetti bolognese while the Italian Tomato & Vegetable Puree, which is combination of tomatoes and vegetables, will give a sauce base, reported the talkingretail.com.

These products will lower the need of adding key recipe ingredients such as garlic, chilli and basil.

Sainsbury's groceries lead product developer Andrew Ritchie was quoted by the website as saying that the company has developed the new range in order to make the process of cooking simple and easy.
