Van Drunen Farms (VDF) offers Freeze-Dried Mango Strips, a healthy ingredient to make snack foods both good tasting and nutritious.

Naturally high in vitamin A, vitamin C, iron and calcium, mangos are also low in fat and cholesterol-free. Mangos are a healthy alternative to artificial, sugary snacks or salty, fried foods. One handful of Freeze-dried Mango Strips provides a full serving of fruit.

The freeze-drying process allows the fruit to retain much of its flavor and nutrition, and enables a longer shelf-life. The mango strips can serve as a stand-alone snack, but can also be added to trail mixes or granola. In addition to snack applications, the versatile product can be served with salads, yogurt, cold cereal and instant oatmeal, or they can be blended into fruit smoothies or vanilla milkshakes.

The product is offered in conventional and organic forms and is certified kosher as well. VDF also offers Freeze-dried Blueberries and Freeze-dried Cranberries.
