Gold'n Plump has adchicken pattiesded two new flavors to the company's line of frozen chicken patties.

The new Bacon & Cheddar and Mushroom & Swiss chicken patties are made with boneless, skinless chicken thighs. GNP Company, which manufactures the patties, also increased the size of the patties to 1/3-lb. The patties are vacuum-packed and sold in 32-oz. packages that contain six patties for a suggested retail price of $8.99, according to the company.

“Consumers continue to seek out better burgers with the texture of home-made patties,” said Sara Danforth, new product development manager for GNP Company. “The new chicken burger patties have a hand-pattied, butcher-made appearance with real, flavorful ingredients like bacon, cheese and mushrooms mixed in.”

GNP Company plans to support the launch of the new patties via Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest in addition to digital and radio advertising. Point-of-sale materials, product demonstrations and couponing in select markets will begin by summer when the product is available.
