Fruit ingredients and snacks company Taura Natural Ingredients has appointed Peter Forceville as head of sales and marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Forceville will be responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing activities for Taura’s URC fruit products in the EMEA region and will be based at Taura’s offices in Olen, Belgium.

“I’m delighted to join such a professional company and highly motivated team,” said Forceville. “Taura’s URC fruit ingredients are unique products that offer great benefits to customers in the food industry in terms of taste, nutritional value and total cost of use. There remains huge growth potential for healthy food and snacks containing real fruit, and to realise this potential my team and I will focus on continuous innovation, providing excellent service and building sustainable partnerships with our key accounts.”

“It’s with great pleasure that we welcome Peter Forceville to Taura,” said Peter Dehasque, CEO of Taura. “He has extensive experience in a range of senior B2B roles and the skillset he brings with him will serve us well as we embark on our next phase of growth. He is taking on a crucial role in our company in a region that is very important to our business. We were impressed with his credentials and had no hesitation in offering him the chance to join our fantastic team.”

URC (Ultra Rapid Concentration) is described by Taura as a unique process of concentrating the taste, texture and natural goodness of fruit into pieces, flakes and pastes for use in applications such as chocolate, baked goods, confectionery and snack bars.
