High-Velocity Impingement FreezerGEA Refrigeration Technologies, Durham, N.C., presents the GEA High Velocity Freezer range (HVF) of impingement freezers, designed for freezing hamburger patties and other flat products, as well as for crust-freezing various other food items.

Using high-velocity air jets, the freezer breaks the insulating boundary layers around products and quickly reduces the temperature at the outer layer. The unit has a modular configuration, and is available with two conveyor belts with speeds that can be separately adjusted.
