Pakit Sweden AB is a international developer of moulded fibre solutions for the packaging industry.

"It also improves Unisource's capability to be more responsive to our customer needs in the sustainable packaging area."
The acquisition by Unisource includes the purchase of equipment that uses cellulose fibres to manufacture moulded fibre packaging, replacing the use of plastic trays, bottles, containers, carriers and other conventional petroleum-based packaging.
Gary Miller, president of UGS, added the manufacturing equipment will expand UGS' production resources to drive the next generation of packaging solutions to meet global growing interest in sustainable packaging.
