Super-premium ice cream, only with quality ingredients, machinery: Rokk

Rokk Processing, the UK-based manufacturer of high-end ice cream machinery, has insisted that the super-premium ice cream that the market craves from small- to medium- sized producers can only be achieved if every element in the entire manufacturing process is of an equally high standard; from the ingredients to the machinery used right through to the final stages of packaging and distribution.

According to a press release issued on Friday, to enable it to bring its own elements of quality into the processing table and allow manufacturers to meet consumer demand to the best of their ability, Rokk Processing only uses the very finest components available and has each and every one of its machines expertly assembled, by hand, in the UK and Europe.

Phil Darvell, MD, Rokk Processing, commented: “Although we’re told there’s light at the end of recessional tunnel, the lure for saving money and getting machines manufactured in countries where parts and labour is much cheaper has proven too much for some. It’s an understandable reaction to an unsteady economy but as a consequence of doing this, quality, and therefore longevity, is sacrificed alongside the ability to create a truly premium ice cream.”

“Despite the monetary appeal, Rokk has stuck by what it believes in and kept the construction of its machines European. It’s how we’ve always worked and how we’ve consistently achieved our goal of providing machines that are, as our slogan says, ‘Simple,’ ‘Solid,’ and ‘Dependable.’”
