According to TUEV SUED, this acquisition is a part of its plan to expand its international reach and service portfolio.

TUEV SUED CEO Sergio Mello said that SFDK's reputation, modern laboratory equipment and qualified expert staff, provide an excellent starting-point for the company's further expansion in the Brazilian market.

"I am convinced that SFDK will continue its successful development under the umbrella of the TUEV SUED Group and that we have created a strategic hub for the rollout of our services in other Latin American countries," Mello added.

SFDK, founded in 1998 in Sao Paulo, is a leading food testing laboratory, with comprehensive accreditations in the field. It has the capability to perform a wide range of services including microbiological, chemical and foreign materials testing. Its client base includes national market leaders and international groups.
