The Epson C3-IP67 washdown robots feature high precision and can perform repetitive tasks involved in food transportation. They are designed to safeguard both human operators as well as products from contamination

According to the company, the robots can lower the overall costs of operation by reducing the number of production line workers, while also boosting yields through increased quality and throughput.

As the robots are detergent washable, they can be used to ensure proper cleanliness in food applications.

The robots are waterproof; feature safe coating material; have stainless steel end effectors that lower risk of contamination by foreign substances; and their compact and slim design makes it easy for installation in sealed environments such as inside an isolator, the company said.
