Tony Lucarelli, executive vice president of Henningsen Cold Storage, has been elected president of the World Group, a strategic partnership of independent North American frozen and refrigerated logistics and warehousing companies.

Luis Jorba, chief executuve officer of Frialsa Frigorificos, was elected vice president. The new secretary is Stan Bigford, chief financial officer of Trenton Cold Storage; and the new treasurer Patrick Gorbett, president and ceo of Great Lakes Cold Storage.

Founded in 1978, the World Group collectively provides a network of 55 refrigerated warehouses in the United States, Canad am Mexico. Other members include American Cold Storage, MTS Logistics, NOCS and US Growers Cold Storage.
