Tender deadline is Thursday, July 31, traders said. The wheat is sought in two consignments with shipment between September 8-22 and September 25 to October 9.
The association had made no purchase in its previous tender for 80,900 tonnes of US milling wheat with the same shipment period which closed on Friday, traders said. Prices were regarded as too high and there were also logistics problems in a major US export terminal, traders said.
