company TWINPACK B.V. joins Danish food manufacturer HEDEGAARD FOODS A/S to set up the packaging company Eggs-Posure. The vision for the new company is to generate added value for the global egg industry by providing creative packaging concepts.The new company Eggs-Posure already has one product fully prepared: eggyplay®, a patented egg box design made from colourful moulded plastic. The box not only stores and protects eggs; it can also be reused as a toy. Once empty and washed (they are dishwasher safe), the colourful, interlocking boxes can be used as building blocks, giving children hours of fun. The concept will be shown on the VIV EUROPE 2014 which is from 20th until 22nd of May in Utrecht (The Netherlands). The worldwide known machine manufacturer MOBA will also pay attention to the product during the VIV.
TWINPACK and HEDEGAARD FOODS complement each other excellently: TWINPACK is a global packaging manufacturer with food packaging as a speciality, HEDEGAARD FOODS is specialist in supplying and distributing eggs and egg related products and concepts. The director of the new company Eggs Posure will be Jacco Wagelaar (CEO TWINPACK), whereas Ivan Noes Jørgensen (CEO HEDEGAARD FOODS) will serve as chairman of the board of directors. The vision behind the company is to add extra value to the egg category for retailers and consumers alike, thereby generating added value within the global egg industry.
