Hospitality Consultancy & Investment Group (HCIG) has signed a partnership with Pancake House to bring Yellow Cab Pizza to the UAE.

Established in 2001, Yellow Cab Pizza is a quick and innovative casual dining concept that is specialized in New York-style pizzas.

Under the 10-year master franchise agreement, two branches are scheduled to open in 2013.

The company's expansion plans for the first five years is to have more than 15 outlets open, in addition to sub-franchising opportunities, focusing mainly on the Dubai and Abu Dhabi market.

HCIG CEO Richard Haddad said, "We are looking forward to opening our first two branches in the capital and I'm sure it's going to add a competitive edge to the collection of brands that already exist in the market today."

Pancake House international business development manager Richard Backstrom said, "We believe that the brand we're offering is going to be a great hit in the UAE and would open doors for it to enter other Middle Eastern markets."
