Saturn peaches - a novelty in the fresh organic sector - have been launched as part of the "Specials" range created by Canova, a company part of Gruppo Apofruit, a leader in the Italian organic produce sector.

Saturn peaches are an ancient variety that was originally cultivated in Sicily, at the foothills of Mount Etna. Nowadays, consumption is increasing thanks to varietal renovation, which improved the characteristics of this fruit.

Almaverde Bio's Saturn peaches are part of their "Specials" range due to the fact that they are excellent and truly unique.

Intense aroma, sweet flavour and juicy flesh - these peaches are ideal also as a snack and are excellent ingredients for meat or fish-based dishes, first courses and desserts.

Last year, Canova's innovation strategy introduced over 50 new products in the organic produce range, thus increasing the number of people interested in organic products.

Almaverde Bio Saturn peaches are available in 400 gram packets but also loose in those stores licensed to sell non-packaged organic produce in Almaverde Bio islands, which have been specifically designed for big retailer stores.
