The apple, a natural appetite suppressant:
Eat an apple to satisfy those cravings for snacks in the afternoon. The apple contains pectin, is easily digestible, quenches thirst and contains 60 KCA per fruit, making it the weight loss product par excellence.

The grapefruit, fat burner:

In the 1930s, the grapefruit was the favourite diet fruit of Hollywood stars. The secret? The grapefruit ensures that insulin is secreted, the substance in the body that stores fat. US researchers had their subjects eating half a grapefruit every morning. After 12 weeks, they had lost 1.5 kg.

Note: the grapefruit can affect medication. Check with your pharmacist.

The papaya, appetite suppressant:
The shell and the kernel of this fruit have been known to contain enzymes, papain, which help in digesting proteins. Unfortunately, these are not edible, but the flesh has a slimming effect because the fibres swell in the stomach and thus suppress hunger.

Note: if you have a sensitive stomach, you’re better off putting this fruit in the blender and drinking the juice.
