The first completely Quinola Mothergrainvegetarian, vegan and gluten-free baby range has been launched by specialist quinoa brand, Quinola Mothergrain.

Made from Fairtrade Peruvian quinoa, Quinola Mothergrain baby food is 100 per cent organic, packed with vegetable protein, minerals and essential amino acids – and takes 30 seconds to warm in a microwave.

With two recipes in each of Stage 1, 2 and 3, it tastes as good as homemade food.

The new baby food range is available in 190g packs (£1.99 RRP) with flavours including:

• Sweet Potato, Beetroot & Quinoa (6 months: smooth texture)
• Carrot, Red Lentil & Quinoa (6 months: smooth texture)
• Swede & Parsnip, Carrot & Quinoa (8 months: fork mash)
• Pinto Bean, Sweetcorn & Quinoa (8 months: fork mash)
• Butternut Squash, Carrot & Quinoa (10 months: little bits)
• Peas & Spinach, Parsnip, Mint & Quinoa (10 months: little bits)

The baby food range is already listed as one of the world’s top ten quinoa innovations by PromPeru, Peru’s Export and Tourism Promotion Board.

Quinola Mothergrain founder, James Livingstone-Wallace said:

“Our baby foods are a complete meal and will help your child discover new tastes and textures, with recipes that grow with them.

“We wanted to create a product that parents will turn to as a healthy, tasty alternative when they don’t have time to prepare something themselves.

“All recipes have been prepared with organic ingredients with two vegetables given pride of place. Accompanied by quinoa, our baby foods provide all the protein your baby needs.”

Quinola Mothergrain baby food is available in Wholefoods, Planet Organic as well as a national network of premium independent retailers.
