The company noted that Almased offers an all-natural choice for weight loss with no artificial fillers, flavors, added sugars or preservatives. The gluten-free product is made from non-GMO fermented soy, yogurt and honey.
Unlike other weight loss supplements, Almased suppresses appetite and helps the body burn fat while retaining muscle mass and keeps blood sugar and thyroid function balanced, the company said.
To address the demand for the product in Canada and to give Canadian customers easier access to the product, True North Nutrition will exclusively distribute Almased to both the health and food drug mass retail channels nationwide
True North Nutrition president Mike Spriggs said that Almased has been very successful in its present markets.
We look forward to developing Almased in the Canadian market with strong national distribution supported by their current brand recognition, online exposure and a national print campaign," Spriggs added.
