Sonic introduces two new chicken sandwiches in US
Sonic, a US-based restaurant chain, has launched two new chicken sandwiches - Asiago Caesar Chicken…Sonic, a US-based restaurant chain, has launched two new chicken sandwiches - Asiago Caesar Chicken Sandwich, Classic Chicken Sandwich, available in either grilled or crispy.
The limited time Asiago Caesar Chicken Sandwich is made with white meat chicken breast, topped with sliced Asiago cheese, thick and hand-sliced tomatoes on Sonic's ciabatta bun, with 10g of whole grain.
Classic Chicken Sandwich is also prepared with white meat chicken breast, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, light mayo and is served between a warm whole-grain ciabatta bun.
According to the company, the signature Caesar dressing on the sandwich is based on an aioli that Chef Petersson has been developing for the last 18 years.
Sonic Research & Development vice president Chef Clas Petersson said, "The team has been perfecting the chicken sandwich for nearly a year and we are excited to introduce the new Asiago Caesar and Classic Chicken sandwiches that promise to make the chicken sandwich a Sonic menu destination."
The two new chicken sandwiches will debut on the Sonic menu, before the National Sandwich Day.
