Atkins Nutritionals, Denver, Colorado, USA, a leader in the weight-management category, has announced the January launch of Atkins brand frozen meals, billed as the first and only line of indulgent low-carb entrees that will be available nationwide.

The nine new, convenient entrees were developed with a focus on exceptional taste and the use of satisfying Atkins-friendly, premium, whole food ingredients like freshly-picked vegetables, real, rich creams and sauces and premium custom meats without any fillers or preservatives.

"For our seven million loyal followers, who enjoy rich, flavorful foods made from scratch, the frozen aisle can feel like a frosty wasteland of unsatisfying, low-fat, low-calorie and high-carb options," said Scott Parker, chief marketing officer. "The Atkins Frozen Meals line offers Atkins followers, who are accustomed to homemade food and fresh ingredients, a convenient and satisfying solution to help facilitate weight loss."

The nine-item menu includes a variety of options to please every taste bud from traditional comfort classics like Meatloaf with Portobello Mushroom Gravy to more premium Italian entrees such as the Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo with a real cream and Parmesan cheese sauce.
