Cuttack-based Ruchi Foodline, Cuttack, India, has been in the spice business since 1976, but now it's getting into a line of frozen foods called Frozit.

While the concept of frozen food in the state of Odisha has yet to catch on with consumers, Ruchi Chairman Sarat Sahoo feels the time is ripe to change that. The line includes ready-to-heat-and-eat items, fried foods, Indian frozen snacks and frozen desserts. Examples range from chicken and vegetable biryani to Kaju Kheer custard.
