McDonald's, US-based international fast food chain, is set to relaunch its McRib sandwich at participating McDonald's restaurants of the Greater Philadelphia Region.

The McRib sandwich is a combination of boneless pork with onions, dill pickle slices and McDonald's signature McRib sauce on a toasted, home-style bun, said the company.

The sandwich will be available only for a limited time.

McDonald's is the leading foodservice provider in the US. About 80% of McDonald's 14,000 US restaurants are independently owned and operated by local franchisees. There are nearly 300 McDonald's restaurants in the Greater Philadelphia Region.
