The retailer, owned by Dunkin Brands International, plans to unveil 249 outlets in the country over the next ten years.
Wuhan Baba, Hebei Banno and No. 31 Shenyang each plan to unveil 50 new outlets in the country while Tianjin Aishike and Beijing Rongshengyuan will open 39 and 60 outlets respectively.
Dunkin' Brands International president Giorgio Minardi remarked that the five franchisees had a significant experience in the domestic market, needed to expand the Baskin-Robbins brand in the country.
"With the development of these additional shops across China, even more ice cream lovers throughout the country will be able to enjoy Baskin-Robbins' delicious ice cream, custom ice cream cakes and frozen beverages, all served in a fun environment and at a great value," said Minardi.
The brand currently operates 90 stores in China, spread across Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Hangzhou and Zhengzhou.
Baskin-Robinson offers a wide range of ice cream flavors and frozen treats such as sundaes, ice cream cakes and frozen beverages via its 7,000 outlet network in 50 countries.
