Wendy is getting a makeover. The famous freckly red-head who smiles over the popular fast food chain has just gotten a 21st century airbrushing.

The new, contemporary logo of America's number two chain will be unveiled on Monday. The logo will be seen on its advertising, uniforms and menus.

The company is going for a sleek, modern image as it tries to better compete with chains including Panera and Chipotle.
