Toronto-based fast causal restaurant chain, Quesada Burritos and Tacos, plans to operate 300 restaurants across the country over the next five years.

The chain, under the plan, has signed three new development agreements in Canada to open a minimum 90 outlets in Toronto, Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec in five years.

Quesada Franchising of Canada president Tom O'Neill said that the latest deals will bring the number of outlets under contract to 150.

"This brings to 150 the number of restaurants under contract and marks the halfway point in our goal to open 300 restaurants across Canada," O'Neill said.

Quesada Burritos and Tacos is also seeking more area developers in Western Canada and the Maritimes.

Founded in 2004, the Mexican restaurant chain currently has over 12 restaurants across Canada. Its menu features Burritos, Tacos, Quesdillas, sides & drinks and Quesada salads.
