American restaurant chain Fatburger has partnered with VAZZ Foods to enter Indian market with the opening of 25 new outlets across the country.

The move is part of Fatburger's aim to expand the brand globally. Initailly, the chain is looking to tap Northern India.

Fatburger, which has presence in 27 countries, most recently extended its international footprint with a new location in Beirut, Lebanon.

The company plans to open new outlets in Cairo, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul and Lahore over the next few months.

The brand also has agreements for over 300 new units in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, further broadening its global reach.

Fatburger CEO Andy Wiederhorn said, "We anticipate great success in India and strive to further build upon our international presence in the coming years."

Founded in 1952 and headquartered in California, Fatburger currently has more than 120 restaurants across the world.
