Frozen Value has withdrawn Picard Chocolate and Pistachio Cones because of incorrect allergy information on the product label. The affected products, with a ‘best before’ date of March 2013, contain traces of peanut that isn’t mentioned on the label. If you’re allergic to or intolerant of nuts, don’t eat this product. The Agency has issued an Allergy Alert.

The product being withdrawn is:

  • Picard Chocolate and Pistachio Cones, box of six ice creams
  • Best before: March 2013

 

Frozen Value has withdrawn the affected product, and been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will explain to their members why the product is being withdrawn. If you’ve bought the product you can return it to the store for a full refund.

No other Frozen Value products are known to be affected.
