The recall affects Asda 4 Breaded Alaska Pollock Fillets packs of 520g, featuring a use-by date of 19 February 2014.

The UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) said that the product poses a possible health risk for those allergic or intolerant to milk or its constituents.

No other Asda products are affected in the withdrawal.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled product have been advised to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Asda is contacting the relevant allergy support organizations, which will inform their members about the withdrawal.
