Crux Biotech India Pvt Ltd was incorporated on May 20, 2010 by Mr. G. Ravi Chandran and Mr. M. Subba Reddy. CBIPL is primarily engaged in manufacturing of extra neutral alcohol from maize starch and broken rice starch for the alcohol trade industry which contributes about 72% of the total revenue of the company. The solid waste by-product derived in the process of manufacturing starch is known as Distillers Wet Grain Solubles and Distillers Dried Grain Solubles which is used for cattle feed and poultry feed apart from that the company also manufactures spirit which is supplied to the Pharma industry. The company has an installed capacity of 60kl per day and also has a captive power plant of 2.5MW.
