Jai Hind Oil Mills Co. started as an edible oil trading and oilseed crushing company in 1948 and by 1963 went on to become a pioneering integrated edible oil company manufacturing various cooking mediums.
By 1963, as their expertise grew, the company installed and commissioned an ultra modern composite edible oil refinery and a hydrogenated plant on a ten-acre land acquired at Bhandup (Mumbai). They ventured into manufacturing all kinds of vegetable refined oils and hydrogenated vegetable oils.
