About the Company :
Jepore Sugar was formed in the year 1960 Sugar Factory at Chagallu was established by shifting the existing sugar factory at Nagaram village in Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh with an initial capacity of 850 T.C.D. The production was commenced on 2/12/1961. This small unit of V.V.S. Sugars has been expanded from time to time and at present acquired the capacity of 8500 T.C.D.
In March 2019, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has directed initiation of insolvency proceedings against The Jeypore Sugar Company Ltd. The petition was filed by IDBI
